I love hummus and there is no recipe that I don’t like, it’s always delicious! I wanted to make a version with pumpkin because it’s in season, but I wanted to innovate a bit and I replaced the chickpeas with white beans, it’s amazing! It’s less creamy than chickpea hummus but it’s worth a try.

The truth is that hummus gives a lot of play in the kitchen, as a garnish, in salads, sandwiches, pizzas and even to add creaminess to our pasta and rice recipes.



  • 2 tazas de calabaza cruda cortada en dados (230 g)
  • 425 g de alubias blancas cocinadas o de bote (15 oz)
  • 1 cucharada de tahini
  • 1 diente de ajo
  • 1 cucharadita de comino en polvo
  • 1 cucharadita de pimentĆ³n dulce
  • 3 cucharadas de aceite de oliva virgen extra
  • El zumo de 2 limones
  • Sal marina al gusto (opcional)


  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until desired consistency.
  2. I have decorated it with pine nuts and some chopped coriander.
