Wheat germ salad


  • 1/4 kg of cooked and soft wheat germ
  • 1tz of purple onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 1/2 yellow pepper
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper
  • Dressing


Boil the germ for 3 minutes to soften it.

Note: if the germ is hot [recently cooked] it absorbs the dressing better, add it at this time.

Sauté the onion.

Finely chop the chives (green and bco), the peppers and the carrot.

Mix everything and marinate with the dressing 15 mins.
