Wheat asparagus and mushroom sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 small slices of loaf of bread
  • 5 green asparagus
  • 6 small mushrooms
  • 2 slices of onion
  • 2 boneless california plums
  • White pepper
  • Oil
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Preparation

    In a small frying pan add a teaspoon of oil and heat. When hot, add the asparagus and season with salt and pepper. sauté them for about 3 minutes over high heat with a lid on the pan (so they don’t splash).

    Put a slice of bread on a plate and place the asparagus well aligned on top. cover them with another slice of bread.

    In the same pan add another teaspoon of oil, heat and put the mushrooms together with their previously separated stem. a pinch of salt, cover and heat for another 3 minutes, stirring from time to time so that they cook on both sides. place them on the slice of bread, forming a second layer and cover them with another slice of bread.

    Return to the pan and place the onion slices with a drop of oil and salt. high heat and cover for a minute. when it is already golden add the 2 plums chopped into small pieces together with a splash of water (approximately 3 tablespoons). place over high heat and stir until the water evaporates.

    Spread this mixture over the previous slice of bread to form a third layer. cover with another slice, flatten everything slightly with your hand and take the whole sandwich to the pan to toast the bread a little, without oil or any fat because it is not necessary. turn it over to toast the other side.

    Put it on a plate and cut it in half to eat more comfortably.
