They look great but they are even richer. We made them quite thick for the photo but if you like them you can make them thinner, both ways are delicious.

Receta Hamburguesa Vegetariana via

  • 2 patatas
  • 1 cucharadita de orégano
  • 1 cucharadita de tomillo
  • 1/2 cucharadita de estragón
  • Sal y pimienta al gusto
  • 1 cebolla
  • 2 dientes de ajo
  • 1 guindilla cayena
  • 1 pimiento verde
  • 8 gotas de tabasco chipotle
  • 345 gramos de alubias rojas cocidas
  • 20 gramos de levadura de cerveza
  • 80 gramos de pan rallado
  • 2 cucharadas de harina de trigo integral

  1. In a frying pan pour a splash of oil of olive and when the oil is hot add the two peeled potatoes cut into cubes, the oregano, the thyme, the tarragon and season with salt and pepper. Leave over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the finely chopped onion and pepper, the two grated garlic cloves, the finely chopped chilli and the Tabasco . We leave about 20 minutes or until the potato is done. Put the vegetables in a bowl and let them cool.
  3. Add 1 and 1/2 cups of cooked kidney beans. You can use a pot or cook them like us in salted water for about two hours or until they are tender. We beat with a kitchen robot, mixer, with a masher, fork or with our hands.
  4. We add the brewer’s yeast and the breadcrumbs.
  5. < li id="instruction-step-5">We make the burgers with our hands. We like them to be the thickness of our thumb, but you can make them thinner.

  6. Flour the burgers and cook them on the grill or in a pan with a little of oil for 5 minutes on each side. Depending on the thickness of your burgers, this time may vary.
  7. To assemble them, place our burgers on the bread, add a couple of tomato slices, a couple of lettuce leaves and ketchup.
