Vegetable and tofu timbale

Ingredients

  • vegetables we have in season: garlic
  • Potatoes
  • Tofu
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

Peel and cut the potatoes into thick slices. Fry in plenty of hot oil, until golden brown but still soft.

Meanwhile, make a kind of ratatouille but with all the vegetables you have on hand: in a pan with a little oil, fry all the vegetables at a time, over low-medium heat, until tender. Add a little salt to taste.

Cut a piece of tofu and fry it in another pan, or grill it.

In a bowl or deep plate place: in the background the French fries, vegetables on top and, finally, the tofu.

Sprinkle with a pinch of freshly ground black pepper and serve very hot.

If you feel like it, you can put it for a few minutes to gratin in the oven (or the microwave) to finish browning it and for the flavors to take on each other.
