Vegan sweet potato burger

This blog is really going to become a burger blog… (does that exist?). Moreover, we found in our archives (not very far away, we grant you), our first burger, during which Kévin explained to us that the burgers were not American (yes yes yes ladies and gentlemen) but German, from Hamburg. Here is some very interesting information… But how boring we were at the time 😉

To tell you the truth, we weren’t really planning to share this recipe with you, we’re afraid you’ll I’m tired of all our burgers and it’s getting too bad for your figure 😉 But here it is.. it was running through our minds… And then it always gives you an extra idea if you don’t know what to eat tonight hehe!


  • burger bun – 4
  • onion – 2
  • cucumber – 0.5
  • tomatoes
  • mash
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • pepper
The galette

  • potato soft – 2
  • flour – 4 (càs)

  • tomatoes
  • bell pepper – 1
  • onion < !---->– 1
  • vinegar – 20 < /span>(mL)
  • sugar – 1 (càs)
  • tomato concentrate – 2 (càs)


  • Prepare the little pancakes sweet potato: grate the peeled sweet potatoes. Drain well and season. Add the flour to form patties in your hands.
  • Heat some olive oil in a frying pan. Brown the patties in it.
  • Prepare the pepper and tomato ketchup: wash the pepper and put it in the oven at 200°C for 20 minutes.
  • Peel the onion and cut it into cubes. Fry them in oil in a pan. Wash the tomatoes and remove the skin from the pepper. Dice everything and add to the pan. Cook covered for 10 minutes. Mix the sauce. Add vinegar, sugar and tomato puree. Season.
  • Prepare the onion compote: peel the remaining 2 onions and cut them in half. Size of thin slices. Heat a little oil in your pan and add the onions and a little water. Cook covered for ten minutes. Add a little salt.
  • Finish your burgers: cut slices of cucumber and tomato. Toast the burger buns split open.
  • Place ketchup, a patty, onion compote, cucumber and tomato slices and lamb’s lettuce in your buns.
