Undetectable Vegan Strawberry Frosting, fluffy, light, sweet and full of fresh strawberry flavor! Only 3 ingredients, 1 bowl and 15 minutes needed.


  • 1/3 cup < span class="wprm-recipe-ingredient-name">vegan butter, at room temperature re ambient (we like Earth Balance Butter Sticks here)
  • < li class="wprm-recipe-ingredient" style="list-style -type: disk;">1/4 cup strawberry puree (~ 1/2 cup or 80g Heap fresh strawberries, cut in half as instructed in the recipe // puree until smooth)

  • 3 ½ – 4 cups < span class="wprm-recipe-ingredient-name " >Organic powdered sugar


  • In a large mixing bowl, add softened vegan butter and use a electric hand mixer until fluffy – about 1 minute. Add strawberry puree and beat again until fully incorporated, scraping sides as needed.
  • Begin adding sifted confectioner’s sugar, 1/4 cup (28g) at a time (sifting will reduce clumps). Blend on low speed until each 1/4 cup is well incorporated and thick but spreadable. We found that 3 ½ cups (392g) was (literally) the sweet spot!
  • Spread the icing on a strawberry, vanilla or chocolate cake and enjoy! Use immediately or store frosting in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 1 month.
