Vegan potato gratin

It’s not that often that we see potatoes on this blog, strangely… But here, we are having fun with a good gratin of families 😉 Besides, the recipe is also on video here, and that’s cool!

We didn’t want the title “gratin dauphinois” because you never know, there are purists out there and we don’t want to get our fingers slapped!

So call it what you want but that’s it stupid: potatoes, soy cream, a little nutmeg, and we serve it with a chive sauce 😀 Yum…

  • gomasio
  • < span>nutmeg
  • pepper
  • chives – 0.5 (boot)
  • soy milk – 150 (mL)
  • Soy Cream– 300 (mL)
  • potatoes – 500 (g)
  • plain soy yoghurt – 1

  • Wash the potatoes and cut them into rings.
  • Heat the soy cream and soy milk with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C. In your gratin dish, pour a little cream, then half the potatoes. Cover with a little more cream then the other half of the potatoes. Finish with all the rest of the cream. Sprinkle with gomasio.
  • Bake for 45 minutes of cooking (it can be more depending on the thickness of the potatoes). Check for doneness with the tip of a knife.
  • Chop the chives and mix with the yoghurt, salt and pepper. Serve this sauce with the gratin!
