Vegan pizza - with oatmeal


  • 3 cups ground oats
  • 1 tsp homemade yeast
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of water
  • Mashed or sauce of tomato and Italian herbs for the base
  • vegetables of your choice, I used: onion, mushrooms, spinach, crumbled tofu and tomatoes cherry


Mix the ground oats with the yeast and salt.

Add the cup of water and form a sticky dough.

Let the dough rest dough for 1 hour to sponge.

After the hour, on a baking sheet (with waxed paper on top so the dough doesn’t stick) and with your hands or moistened utensils, spread the dough until form a circle.

Bake at 200º for 10-15 minutes or until the base is lightly golden.

Remove from the oven and turn the base over carefully.

< p>Add tomato sauce, herbs and vegetables.

Return to oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
