Vegan Nuggets

Ingredients

  • 1 cup textured soybeans
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 2 tbsp water boiling
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • breadcrumbs

Preparation

First of all we have to hydrate the soybeans, this time we are going to do it the quick way: pour the 100g of soybeans into a container and cover it with boiling water, stir and leave it for 15min.

Now we drain the soybeans and crush them a little so that the excess water drains off.

Take a large bowl and add: the garlic cut into small pieces, the vinegar, the cumin, parsley and drained soybeans. stir everything with a spoon/fork and now add the water and flour. we stir again.

We are going to leave this dough resting for about 30 minutes.

We begin to make the shapes of nuggets that we like the most and we pass them through breadcrumbs (abundantly ).

Heat the fryer or pan with oil and when it is hot, fry the nuggets for about 1 minute on each side.
