If you like mojito these vegan mojito balls are for you and I also have good news, they do not have alcohol! And how is it possible that it tastes like a mojito and doesn’t contain alcohol? Very easy, mint, lime and brown sugar are the culprits that make this simple dessert so rich and taste similar to a traditional mojito.

You can find more recipes for balls on the blog, like these coconut balls or these chocolate truffles. I love these types of desserts or sweets because they are usually lighter and healthier and because they are prepared in 10 minutes. In summer with the high temperatures you don’t always feel like cooking, so this recipe is perfect because you don’t have to be hot, they are prepared with a blender, food processor or food processor.

  • 1 y 1/4 tazas de almendras (200 gramos)
  • 2/3 de taza de dátiles (120 gramos)
  • 1/3 de taza de hierbabuena (30 gramos)
  • 2 cucharadas de zumo de lima
  • 2 cucharaditas de sirope de agave
  • 2 cucharadas de azúcar moreno

  1. Crush the almonds in a blender, robot kitchen appliance or food processor.
  2. Add the dates and blend again.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients (mint, lime juice, agave syrup, and brown sugar) and whisk until smooth.
  4. Put the mixture into the freezer about 15-20 minutes to make the balls easier, but this step is optional.
  5. Shape the balls. To decorate them you can roll them in white or brown sugar.
