Surely more than one throws up his hands when he sees my version of the traditional Asturian bean stew, but I love to personalize the recipes in my own way and I invite you to do it too.
always try to make the recipes on the blog as simple and quick as possible because on a day-to-day basis we don’t have time to spend 2 hours cooking and I want anyone to be able to make them, because cooking healthy and vegan is easy!
Ingredientes
- 400 g de alubias cocidas o de bote (2 tazas)
- 1/2 ó 1 taza de agua (en función de lo caldosa que te guste la fabada)
- 2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva virgen extra al gusto
- 4 dientes de ajo troceados
- 1 cebolla troceada
- 1 cucharada de pimentón dulce
- 1/2 cucharadita de cúrcuma
- 2 hojas de laurel
- 1 cucharadita de sal
- Pimienta negra al gusto
Instructions
- Put a tablespoon of oil in a pot and sauté the garlic and onion for a couple of minutes over medium high heat.
- Mix the vegetables with 50 grams of beans (1/4 cup) along with the water in a blender.
- Put the mixture and the rest of the ingredients in the pot (except the other tablespoon of oil). Stir and cook for about 10 minutes.
- When done, add the other tablespoon of oil, stir and serve.
