Surely more than one throws up his hands when he sees my version of the traditional Asturian bean stew, but I love to personalize the recipes in my own way and I invite you to do it too.

always try to make the recipes on the blog as simple and quick as possible because on a day-to-day basis we don’t have time to spend 2 hours cooking and I want anyone to be able to make them, because cooking healthy and vegan is easy!

  • 1 cebolla troceada
  • 1 cucharada de pimentón dulce
  • 1/2 cucharadita de cúrcuma
  • 2 hojas de laurel
  • 1 cucharadita de sal
  • Pimienta negra al gusto

  1. Put a tablespoon of oil in a pot and sauté the garlic and onion for a couple of minutes over medium high heat.
  2. Mix the vegetables with 50 grams of beans (1/4 cup) along with the water in a blender.
  3. Put the mixture and the rest of the ingredients in the pot (except the other tablespoon of oil). Stir and cook for about 10 minutes.
  4. When done, add the other tablespoon of oil, stir and serve.
