This vegan donut recipe is the best I’ve ever made! They really have a spectacular flavor and are also sweet and fluffy. But the best thing is that they are super easy to prepare!

In addition, to make it you only need simple ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry. And if you don’t have them, don’t worry, because they are easily found in any supermarket.

  • 2 cucharadas de azĂșcar blanco granulado
  • 1/2 cucharadita canela en polvo
  • 1 cucharada mantequilla vegana, derretida

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ÂșF or 180ÂșC and spray donut pans with non-stick spray or a little of oil. Set aside.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl (flour, sugar, yeast, ground cinnamon, and salt).
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients (flax egg, melted vegan butter, vanilla extract and non-dairy milk) and mix until smooth integrated.
  4. Fill 3/4 of the molds. You can do this with a spoon or fill a plastic freezer bag with the mixture, cut off one end and squeeze until the molds are filled.
  5. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. If you poke them with a toothpick and it comes out clean, they’re done.
  6. Remove the tray from the oven and let the donuts cool for at least 5 minutes before removing them from the mold. Transfer them to another pan to cool completely.
  7. The topping is optional but it’s delicious and so easy to make! ! To make the cinnamon sugar, simply mix the sugar and ground cinnamon together in a small bowl until well combined.
  8. Use a brush to spread the melted vegan butter on top of a donut and dip it into the bowl to coat it with the sugar.
  9. Serve with a hot cup of coconut milk or cashew milk .
  10. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • You can use any type of flour you prefer, but you may need to use more for less.
  • Soy milk can be substituted with other types of vegetable milk such as almond milk or oat milk.
  • Any type of sugar is suitable for this recipe, but I have never tried it with liquid sweetener.
  • You can also substitute vegan butter for oil (coconut oil is my go-to for this recipe).
  • Be careful not to overfill the pans, as the dough will rise and the holes in the pans may donuts disappear.
  • Although the vanilla extract is optional, I recommend that you add it because and the donuts will taste spectacular.
  • You can add your favorite spices, such as pumpkin pie spice or even cocoa powder.
  • The nutritional information has been calculated without the topping.
