Vegan and gluten-free churritos


  • 1 cup gluten free flour (½ cornstarch, ½ cassava starch and 2 tbsp rice flour)
  • < li itemprop = "ingredients"> ⅓ cup coconut butter

  • 2 tbsp organic sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Organic sugar for sprinkling
  • A pinch of salt.
  • Frying oil
  • Melted chocolate


In a saucepan, bring the water, margarine and sugar to a boil. Add a pinch of salt. when it boils, remove from the heat and throw the flour all at once. stir well without stopping and cook 1 minute. let the dough cool. place it in a churrera (or make rolls). Fry in plenty of well (well!) hot oil, drain and pass through sugar. Serve with melted chocolate to dip them.
