How I wanted to use the waffle maker! I had abandoned her since we went to Germany and she has made me fall in love again. It is so easy to use, clean and you can make so many recipes, that I would buy it again a thousand times, it is not one of those utensils that you buy on an impulse and then leave cornered in a kitchen cupboard, at least in my case. In addition, now in summer it is a good alternative to the oven so as not to get overheated.

It is a simple recipe, only 4 ingredients are needed! It is also very low in fat and nutritious, but best of all, these waffles are incredibly rich and can be accompanied by your favorite toppings: jam, syrup, fruit, nuts, seeds, nut butters, etc.

  • 3 tazas de copos de avena (360 g)
  • 1 taza de leche de avena (250 ml)
  • 4 cucharadas de cacao sin azúcar
  • 4 cucharadas de sirope de agave

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle maker. Meanwhile, beat all the ingredients in the blender.
  2. Pour the batter into the waffle maker with the help of a spoon and cook for about 7 minutes (read the tips section ).
  3. Serve with your favorite toppings. We add banana, cocoa nibs and agave syrup.

Notes

If you use oat flakes with a gluten content of less than 20 ppm or 20 mg/kg, it will be a recipe suitable for coeliacs as indicated by the CE regulation 41/2009. However, people with severe sensitivity to gluten can experience symptoms below 20 ppm, so they should consider their tolerance level.
