Vegan almond nougat.

We continue with the round of vegan Christmas recipes! Today we have a Vegan Almond Nougat.

Do you remember that I said that this week there would be two recipes? Said and done. Today I bring the second vegan nougat that I will bring you for this Christmas. I think it is ideal to have different options on the table when we are going to have guests (something quite typical at Christmas) and even more so if we are going to offer a vegan menu to people who are not used to a vegan menu.

300 grams of peeled Almonds
2 tablespoons of Coconut Milk (coconut cream, the one that comes in a can)
1 small teaspoon of Agave Syrup
1 small teaspoon of Cinnamon powder
*We will need a rectangular mold or tupper.

Step by step

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients until you get a dense, homogeneous and creamy mass.
  2. When it is well crushed, pour it into a rectangular mold or bowl and adapt it to the shape. Flatten it at the top.
  3. Put it in the fridge for at least 1 hour.< /li>
  4. When it is dense and somewhat stiffer, we remove it from the fridge and cut it into rectangles.
  5. We add a little more cinnamon on top and that’s it! You can now serve the Vegan Almond Nougat.
  6. Remember to keep the leftovers in the fridge.
