The turmeric latte is one of my favorite drinks par excellence. I love to drink it warm on cold winter days because it is healthy, it is very tasty, it is creamy, it has foam and it is affordable. Has it all!

It is prepared with your favorite non-dairy milk and you can customize it with the sweetener you prefer. And also to make it you only need 5 minutes and 4 ingredients!



  • 2 tazas de leche vegetal sin endulzar, yo usé leche de almendras (480 ml)
  • 1 cucharadita de cúrcuma en polvo
  • 1/2 cucharadita de canela en polvo
  • 2 cucharadas de sirope de arce o agave


  1. Heat the almond milk in a saucepan over high heat but without boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and add the rest of the ingredients. Stir and try. If it is not to your liking, you can add more turmeric, cinnamon or sweetener and if it is too strong add a little more milk or sweetener.
  3. Serve your turmeric latte in breakfast or snack accompanied by a few slices of homemade bread toasted with hummus.


  • To get as much foam I used a cappuccino whisk, but it’s optional. Another option is to beat the hot milk in a blender with the rest of the ingredients to make it foamy.
  • You can customize your turmeric latte recipe with your favorite sweetener.
  • Although I I used almond milk, this turmeric latte will also be delicious with other types of vegetable milk, such as soy milk,  cashew-milkoat milkrice milk o  coconut milk.
  • If you use already sweetened milk, omit the sweetener.
  • Among the benefits of turmeric you will find that it can reduce inflammation, help with digestion and lower cholesterol levels.
