Ingredients
- ½ white onion, cut into large pieces
- 2 tomatoes, peeled and cut into quarters li>
- 1 jalapeño (seedless and faded, see notes)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 avocado
- 1 lime, squeezed
- 1 handful of cilantro
- ½ cdta of salt < / li>
Preparation
Place the onion, tomatillos, garlic and jalapeño in a dry skillet.
Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, charring the ingredients. p>
Transfer charred ingredients to a food processor.
Add avocado, lime juice, cilantro, and salt to food processor.
Pulse several times, stopping to scrape down the sides.
You’ll want the texture to be a little chunky, but still soft enough to dip a potato chip into.
Do a test of flavor and adjust salt as needed. Enjoy it.
