Tofu marinated in the oven


  1. 1 firm or extra firm tofu, drained and sliced
  2. 3 tbsp soy sauce
  3. 1 tbsp mustard
  4. 1 tbsp olive oil
  5. 3/4 cup vegetable broth
  6. 2 tbsp garlic powder


In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, mustard, olive oil, vegetable stock, and garlic powder.

Add the tofu, making sure it is well covered marinate for at least an hour (the longer the better), stirring occasionally.

Place the marinated tofu in a single layer on the baking sheet and place the tofu in the oven. Turn after 15 minutes and add some extra marinade. Bake for another 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven once golden brown.

You can either eat it right away in a salad, stir-fry, or pasta dish, or leave it in put in the fridge and use within 5 days.
