It has always been very difficult for me to drink water, I was the typical person who only drank at meals or when I was very thirsty and the truth is that I didn’t like water very much, I preferred to drink other liquids such as carbonated drinks. Luckily, water has always been drunk at home and my mother has never bought me industrial juices or soft drinks, except on special occasions. These types of drinks are not healthy for children or adults, they are full of sugars and chemical additives.

About 6 years ago I lost a lot of weight when I became interested in healthy food and my dietitian made me aware of how important hydration is for our body. To force myself to drink I always had the bottle at hand and although it was quite difficult at first, now I drink 2 or 3 liters without realizing it and I love water.

  1. Cut the orange and strawberries into small pieces .
  2. Put the fruits and mint in a glass container and add the water.
  3. Let let the detox water rest for at least an hour. You can let it macerate for 12 or 24 hours. The longer it macerates, the more flavor it will have.
  4. You can eat the fruit or you can make green smoothies or any other recipe you can think of with it.
