These roasted chickpeas have been a real discovery for us, they are incredibly simple to prepare, you can use your favorite spices, they are light (perfect for the bikini operation or lorza operation, as I like to call it) and they are so rich that you will not be able to stop eating.

I had seen these chickpeas on other blogs and they had always caught my attention but I never dared to prepare them. Some versions cook them before but we tried to bake them directly and we are delighted with the result. We have added ourfavorite spices, but you can change them to your liking and try different combinations.



  • 1 taza de garbanzos crudos (200 gramos)
  • El zumo de medio limón
  • 1 cucharadita de pimentón dulce
  • 1 cucharadita de ajo en polvo
  • 1 cucharadita de comino en polvo
  • 1 cucharadita de curry


  1. Let the chickpeas soak overnight .
  2. The next day we preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  3. Put the chickpeas in a bowl and add the juice of half a lemon, the spices and mix everything with the help of our hands.
  4. Put the chickpeas on a tray with baking paper and place them on the central part of the oven.
  5. Let the chickpeas roast for about 40 or 45 minutes at 200 degrees (the baking time may vary depending on your oven, as in any recipe). You can take them out and try them without fear of opening the oven.
