rice fritters

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • ½ cup flour dissolved in water
  • ½ cup of water or soy milk
  • Flour (required amount)
  • Salt to taste
  • Frying oil

Preparation

Boil the rice until it is just right. Place it in a colander under cold running water, drain well and pour it into a bowl.

Add salt, the flour for faina and the flour and beat with a fork, gradually incorporating the flour until it forms a rather liquid paste (when the fork is removed a thick thread should drip out).

With a soup spoon, take the preparation and very carefully place it in the pan with hot oil, once it is gold on one side is flipped on the other. Take out and place in a paper-lined dish to remove the rest of the oil. Serve as a hot or cold appetizer.
