Rice and seed burgers


  • ♥ 2 cups cooked short grain brown rice
  • ♥ 1 finely chopped onion
  • < li itemprop = "ingredients"> ♥ 1 clove finely chopped garlic

  • ♥ 1 red pepper (roasted, peeled and finely chopped)
  • ♥ 3 tbsp lightly toasted sunflower seeds
  • ♥ finely chopped parsley leaves
  • ♥ cornstarch
  • ♥ oil


Sauté the onions and garlic with a little oil and a pinch of salt, uncovered over medium/low heat for 10 minutes.

Add the red pepper finely chopped, rice, seeds and parsley. mix well.

Amalgamate a small amount well, and make a hamburger, very flat. lightly coat it with cornstarch.

Heat oil, prepare a tray with absorbent paper and grill each hamburger on both sides. dry on paper for a few minutes before serving.
