We are changing some of our most popular recipes for our daily life and like vegan cheese< /a> we do it often and it is one of your favorite recipes, we had to share with you this fat-free version, which has nothing to envy to the original!

This cheese gives a lot of play in the kitchen. You can use it as a dip to dip nachos, pita bread or crudités, with pasta to make delicious macaroni and cheese, on pizzas, risottos and in general to substitute to cheese in almost any recipe you can think of. We eat it the most is with pasta, we cook it, add the cheese sauce, stir and heat for a couple of minutes. We also usually add steamed vegetables to make it a more complete dish.



  • 2 tazas de patatas en dados (360 g)
  • 1 taza de zanahorias en dados (135 g)
  • 3/4 taza de agua (190 g)
  • 4 cucharadas de levadura nutricional o de cerveza
  • 3 cucharadas de salsa de soja o tamari
  • 2 cucharadas de zumo de limón
  • 2 cucharaditas de ajo en polvo


  1. Steam the potatoes and carrots until they are tender. You can also cook them if you want.
  2. Strain them and put them in the blender together with the rest of the ingredients and mix until all the ingredients are well integrated.
