These potato wedges are one of the richest and simplest potato recipes I’ve ever tried. I love them because, although they are crispy on the outside, they are soft on the inside, which makes a wonderful contrast.

In addition, the best of all is that they only require 7 cheap ingredients and that they are ready in 30 minutes. You can serve them with your favorite dishes because I assure you that these baked potato wedges are spectacular!



  • 450 g de patatas (1 libra)
  • 1 cucharada de aceite de oliva virgen extra
  • 1 cucharadita de ajo en polvo
  • 1 cucharadita de orégano
  • 1/4 cucharadita de pimentón dulce
  • 1/4 cucharadita de sal marina
  • 1/8 cucharadita de pimienta negra molida


  • Preheat the oven to 200ºC or 400ºF.
  • Wash the potatoes and cut them into wedges without peeling them.
  • Put the potato wedges in a bowl together with the rest of the ingredients and stir until well integrated.
  • Place the potato wedges on a tray lined with baking paper and bake for about 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve your potato wedges immediately with sauces such as healthy ketchup, vegan mayonnaise or vegan yogurt sauce.
  • If you add a little vegan parmesan cheese to taste just before serving and stir, they are even tastier .
  • In addition, potato wedges can also be served as a garnish in dishes such as stuffed peppers, couscous with vegetables, vegan turkey, vegetable cream or pumpkin cream.
  • You can also add a bit of tempeh or sei tán chopped on top before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 days.

  • To make this recipe with potatoes you can substitute the oil for broth of vegetables or water.
  • Add your favorite herbs and spices to your baked potato wedges, such as this chicken seasoning.
