Pepper pie and smoked tofu

  • 1 puff pastry (rectangular)
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1/4 block of smoked tofu
  • Pinch of salt
  • Dry rowing pinch
  • Oilva oil to paint over the cake

Stretch the puff pastry, which in this case was rectangular, cut it round with a large flat plate as a mold, and reserve the cut edges to make the strips that we will put on top to finish the cake.

On the other hand, in a frying pan with a splash of olive oil, we will fry the onion and the peppers well poached, add the tofu in very small cubes, salt and spice to taste and put on top of our puff pastry base.

We close the edges inwards and with the edges that are left over we place them stretched on top, braiding them so that it is more chulito, we paint the puff pastry with olive oil on top and put Baked (preheated to 175º) for about 15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown… take it out and it’s ready to enjoy with ours!!
