Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies (7 ingredients)

Good morning guys! I know that this week I bring the recipe a little later than usual. Oops! But it’s worth it.

This week we repeat with cookies, but this time they are some cookies with peanut butter and dark chocolate chips. These cookies were totally improvised with what I had at home: some nuts, some chocolate, some flour that I had left over from some other recipe… So, as you can imagine, the ingredients are few (only 7 ingredients) and easy. to find

Ingredients

200 grams of peanuts
1/2 cup of non-dairy milk
3/4 cup of cake flour (other types of wheat flour or gluten-free)
1 tsp. of baking powder
1 ripe banana
1 dash of Agave Syrup (or your usual sweetener)
Dark chocolate
Optional: cinnamon powder
*We will need a hand blender and parchment paper oven

Step by step

  1. We will start by grinding the peanuts with the hand blender, until we get a smooth and homogeneous cream. Next, add the banana and, optionally, a pinch of cinnamon.
  2. Brush well until the dough is smooth, thick and smooth.
    We crush the peanuts to get the peanut butter. Then, mix with banana and cinnamon.

     

  3. Add the teaspoon of baking powder, mix once more.
  4. To soften the dough, we are going to add half a cup of vegetable milk. Mix with a spoon and gradually add the 3/4 cup of flour.
    Keep in mind that the softer the dough, the softer the cookie will be. If you add more flour, it will be denser and crispier. So you can modify the recipe if you are interested. With these quantities it is crispy on the outside but tender on the inside.
  5. Cut the chocolate into small pieces and add as many nuggets as we want Mix.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  7. Place the parchment paper on the tray and take portions of the dough with the spoon.
  8. < li> We drop it on the tray and give it a rounded but flat shape. If the spoon sticks too much to the dough, just moisten it with a little water, this way the water creates a non-stick film and it is much easier to handle the dough.

  9. We put them in the oven for about 35 or 40 minutes at 180 degrees. You already know that the time can vary depending on the oven, so the ideal is to leave them until they are well browned.
  10. And that’s it! Remove from the oven and let them cool.
    End result: vegan peanut butter cookies.
