- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup chocolate soy milk
- 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Before going to bed, combine all the ingredients in a nice large jar (I use a Kilner jar because there’s plenty of room for fruit, and seal tightly) .
Put the jar in the fridge and let it do its job while you get your restful sleep.
In the morning, layer your nice black cherry compote and your favorite yoghurt (I used Alpro cherry) on oatmeal. If you’re short on time, put the lid back on your jar and run to the bus, or take your time and enjoy it with a nice cup of coffee.
