These chocolate oatmeal cookies are the simplest cookies in the world: you mix the ingredients, bake and voila, they always come out! And they are much healthier and lighter than the commercial ones.
One of the things I like most about baking cookies is that the kitchen smells like food, the downside is that it’s hard to wait for them to cool down and in the end I end up burning my hands because I’m very impatient.
Ingredientes
- 2 cucharadas de semillas de lino + 6 cucharadas de agua
- 1 taza de harina de avena (120 gramos)*
- 1 taza y 1/2 de copos de avena (150 gramos)
- 1 cucharadita de canela
- 1 plátano
- 1/4 de taza de sirope de agave (100 gramos)
- 3 cucharadas de chips de chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180º C or 355º F.
- Crush the flaxseeds with the water in a blender or food processor and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the oatmeal, the oat flakes, the cinnamon, the mashed banana (with a fork or in a blender), the agave syrup and the flax seeds, until all the ingredients are well integrated.
- We make balls with our hands and flatten them until they have the shape of cookies.
- Add the chocolate chips and bake the cookies until golden brown (about 15-20 minutes).
- Sacam Remove from the oven, let them rest for 5 minutes and transfer them to a rack until they finish cooling.
Notes
* You can make your own oatmeal by grinding oat flakes with the help of a grinder, food processor or blender.
