To say goodbye to 2017, I bring you a vegan, natural and non-alcoholic drink to toast the new year. A version of the traditional mimosa cocktail, which is made with champagne, orange juice and sugar.



  • 3/4 taza de kombucha (200 ml)
  • 3/4 taza de zumo de naranja (200 ml)
  • Granos de granada para decorar (opcional)


  1. Mix the kombucha and orange juice in a bowl or shaker and divide the mimosa cocktail between two glasses.
  2. Garnish with pomegranate seeds to taste (optional).
  3. Ideally, make the cocktail just before serving, but it can be kept in the fridge for up to a day.


  • I like the kombucha to be cold and the orange juice to be at room temperature.
  • Instead of kombucha you could use water with gas, though it won’t have as much flavor.
  • Add your preferred sweetener to taste if you prefer your mimosa to be sweeter.
