It had been a long time since I shared a juice or juice recipe on the blog and it occurred to me that I could make one for beginners and to show you our new juicer, which is the best we’ve tried so far.

As I have already mentioned on occasion, the ideal is to consume green juices in our day to day life and leave fruit juices for special occasions or to treat ourselves. The “bad” thing about green juices is that they are not as sweet or as tasty as fruit juices and at first their flavor can be a bit strong.

  • 2 peras

  1. Wash and chop all ingredients. It is not necessary to peel the ginger or the pears (although if they are not organic it is better that you do). Ideally, you should also discard the hardest parts of the pears such as the seeds or the stem.
  2. Put all the ingredients in the extractor. Try mixing ingredients with a higher water content like pears or celery with more fibrous ones like spinach or ginger.
  3. Our extractor comes with a built-in strainer, but if yours doesn’t, you may prefer to strain it for a finer texture.
  4. I advise you to clean the extractor as soon as you finish juicing, otherwise it will cost you a lot more work later.
  5. Ideally, you should drink the juice or juice for beginners freshly made, although you can keep it in the fridge in an airtight container, better if it is opaque. Fill it to the top to prevent it from rusting. The juice will stay alive for up to 72 hours. You can also freeze it if you want to prepare it in large quantities, although in that case leave some free space so that the jar does not explode because the liquid will expand. Consume it within a week.

  • Pears can be substituted for apples.
  • Any other leafy green can be used instead of spinach, but the nice thing about spinach is that it has a very neutral flavor.
  • You can add other ingredients such as cucumber, lemon, turmeric, etc.
  • If you don’t have fresh ginger, add ginger powder to taste.
