  • 1 c√†c Huile
  • 1 oignon moyen l√©g√®rement tranch√© ou hach√©

  • 2 TL Poudre de Curry Jamaica < span class="wprm-recipe-ingredient-notes wprm-recipe-ingredient -notes- faded">plus ou moins selon vos pr√©f√©rences, voir note
  • 1/2 cc ( 0.5 tsp) curcuma
  • < li class="wprm-recipe-ingredient" style="list-style-type : disque ;"> 1/2 cup (90 g) Lentilles Rouges ( s√©ch√©) – le type √† cuisson rapide – masoor dal
  • 1 cup (226 ml ) lait de coco
  • 1 1/4 < span class="wprm-recipe-ingredients-unit">cup ( 312, 5 ml) eau
  • 3/4 TL (0.75 c√†c) sel< /li>
  • 15 oz Cannelini ou pois chiches ou haricots rouges < span class="wprm-recipe-ingredient-notes wprm -recipe-ingredient-notes-faded">(13 √† 15 oz or 1.25 cup de haricots cuits)

  • Preparation

  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add onion, garlic, chili. Cook until golden brown.
  • Add the spices and cook for a few seconds.
  • Add Lentils, coconut milk, water and salt. Bring to a boil. Add the beans and continue cooking for 10 to 12 minutes or until the lentils are done. Add more water if needed.
  • Salt to taste and taste spices. Add a pinch of sugar or maple to sweeten, more salt if needed, and more Jamaican curry powder. Add green vegetables. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • add dash cayenne pepper and lemon juice. Serve hot over rice, with toast or add more water for a soup.
