1 ingredient cauliflower rice perfect for virtually any dish that calls for brown or white rice!


  • 1 large < span class="wprm-recipe-ingredient-name">Blumenkohl


  • Wash and dry the cauliflower thoroughly, then remove any greens.
  • If you have a Box grater Cut the cauliflower into large pieces and use the medium sized holes (see photo – the side commonly used for grating cheese) to grate “rice”. If you have a Food processor, cut into small pieces and process with the grater Grate the cauliflower to “rice”. 
  • < i>Optional: Place on a clean towel or paper towel and squeeze to remove excess moisture that can soak through your dish.
  • Once you have your cauliflower rice, it’s easy to cook (or eat raw)! Fry in 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cover with a lid to allow the cauliflower to smoke and become more tender. Cook for a total of 5-8 minutes, then season to taste (such as soy sauce or salt and pepper).
  • Use cauliflower rice in recipes that call for rice, like stir -fried or fried rice! Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days. Store uncooked cauliflower rice in the freezer for up to 1 month.
