If you want to lose weight or if you are simply looking for a healthy diet that takes care of your body, you have to try banana ice cream, it is delicious, very cheap and easy to make. The best thing is that you only need 1 ingredient: bananas.

To make this ice cream you need a powerful blender or food processor. I have tried to do it with my Vitamix and with the food processor that we recently bought and with both of them it was very tasty, although the ideal is to use the processor because the ice cream comes out creamier.

  • 6 plátanos congelados
  • Topping: nueces troceadas y miel de caña

Instructions

  1. Cut the banana into 3 or 4 pieces . If your blender or food processor isn’t very powerful, chop them into slices.
  2. Put the bananas in the freezer in an airtight container overnight, although they can be longer.
  3. Put the bananas in your blender or food processor (I recommend you use a food processor because it makes a creamier ice cream) and blend until you get an ice cream with a very creamy consistency. Be patient because it may take a while.
  4. When the ice cream is ready you can eat it right away (although it will be a bit soft) or put it in the freezer for at least 1 hour in an airtight container to solidify slightly.
  5. You can add other frozen fruits besides banana for other flavors.
  6. Serve with your favorite toppings on top
