Simple instructions on how to make almond flour. Ideal for gluten and grain free baking with only 1 mixer, 1 ingredient and 5 minutes needed.
- 1 ½ cups raw almonds (sliced or whole)
- Add almonds to a High speed blender and blend on high speed until a fine, powdery flour forms. We recommend running the blender on the highest setting for 5-10 seconds. Then stop, shake the blender and beat the sides to remove any clumps that have formed. Blend again until smooth and powdery – blending a total of about 10-15 seconds. You’ll know you’ve gone too far when it starts turning into almond butter or clumping up on the sides.
- Check your blender for chunky nuts and continue to blend, occasionally removing your blender from the base and shaking to ensure all nuts are well blended.
- Pour into a jar or container and refrigerate for up to 1 month , often longer. See Notes for recipe suggestions.
