I’m back with a recipe! With one of my favorite sweets and the hardest thing to find in a vegan version when I’m away from home. Today I’m going to teach you how to prepare some vegan croissants, without butter and fast. With only 3 ingredients and prepared in less than 15 minutes Just like the bakery ones!

The texture is perfect, it is a recipe suitable for people with no experience in cooking and also, if like me, you don’t have an oven, you can prepare them in the air fryer.

Ingredients

Vegan puff pastry (see details above)

Vegetable margarine

Sweetener: you can use just syrup (agave, rice…) or use syrup for the outside and grain sweetener for the inside.

*We will need parchment paper, which usually comes with the puff pastry itself.< /p>

Step by step

  1. Stretch the puff pastry and cut it into small triangles: first divide the horizontal length in half and from there we get 4 triangles same top and bottom. Look at the photo below:
  2. Now, we separate the triangles and with melted margarine we paint the upper part of the dough. Sprinkle a little brown sugar, or syrup.

  3. Starting at the widest part of the triangle, roll up the dough and shape it into a C. Rest and repeat the entire process with the dough.
  4. Now, paint the croissants on top with more syrup until they have a shiny finish, and insert them in the air fryer with parchment paper on the base.
  5. Bake them in the air fryer at 180º for 7 minutes, and they will take on a golden finish! and ready to eat!
