Peanut or peanut butter gets me crazy, it’s really addictive, that’s why I usually buy it from time to time because it’s hard for me not to finish the bottle in a day. Also, it is not that it is very cheap, at least here in Spain.

Peanut butter is usually made with peanuts, hydrogenated oils and salt, so it’s not exactly a light and healthy food, which is why this homemade butter is perfect. You can make a small amount to avoid eating it all, it does not have oils or salt, only peanuts, although you should not abuse it because it still has a lot of fat but it is the healthiest option we can eat, and it is delicious!



  • 3 tazas de cacahuetes tostados (450 gramos)


  1. Add the skinned peanuts to the blender and beat until desired consistency is obtained. It will be ready in 1-2 minutes.
  2. Put it in an airtight container and store it at room temperature or in the fridge. I prefer to store it at room temperature because it hardens in the fridge.
