As I told you in another post, I am following an anti-candida diet and my naturopath has recommended that I introduce 3 ingredients into my diet daily: carob flour, coconut oil and sauerkraut. I usually have the sauerkraut for dinner and the other two for breakfast. I usually make a very basic porridge and add to it or make a smoothie similar to this but with coconut oil instead of almond butter.

Almond butter is one of my favorite ingredients, it is delicious, it is very nutritious and it brightens up any dish. It is not a very cheap ingredient, but it goes a long way because as it has so much flavor it is not necessary to add much. It is a healthy and good treat for our body, what more can we ask for!



  • 2 tazas de leche de almendras (500 ml)
  • 2 pl├ítanos
  • 2 pu├▒ados de espinacas
  • 2 cucharadas de mantequilla de almendras (opcional)
  • 4 cucharadas de harina de algarroba


  1. Pour all the ingredients into the blender and beat until they are perfectly integrated.
