Figuritas de mazapan veganas

Ingredients
  • 200 gr. of almond flour
  • 200 gr. of icing sugar
  • 40 ml. of water
  • A little lemon zest
Preparation
  1. We will start by heating the water and the icing sugar in a saucepan, over low heat and stirring constantly to avoid let it stick Heat until you get a syrup (when it reaches 115┬║).
  2. Mix the syrup with the almond flour and the grated lemon peel. Mix until you get a paste that does not break. If it breaks, add a little more water. Cover with plastic wrap and let the dough rest until it cools.
  3. When the dough is cold, we can use it to make our marzipan figures. We take dough potions and give them the shape we like best with our hands. You can help yourself with a toothpick to make drawings in the marzipan. You can also use a cookie cutter.
  4. When we have the marzipan figures made, we place them on the oven tray, on parchment paper. We turn on the grill of the oven, and while it heats up, we paint the figurines with a mixture of oil with a little water.
  5. We bake the marzipan figurines until they are gratin the surface.
  6. Let the figurines cool and harden before eating them.
