One of the most difficult things to give up for most people who become vegan is dairy, among other things because it is addictive and because of its taste, but luckily there are more and more alternatives in stores and there are many recipes that we can prepare at home.

I have always loved yogurt, it was my daily dessert at noon and at night, so at first it was a bit difficult for me to give it up, but the effort was worth it for my health, for the planet and for the animals. Now I don’t eat desserts often because they slow down my digestion, but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy sweet treats, I just try to eat them for breakfast or as a snack.



  • 2 y 2/3 tazas anacardos crudos y sin sal (400 g)
  • 1 y 1/2 tazas de agua (375 ml)
  • 4 cucharadas de zumo de limón
  • 1/4 cucharadita de sal
  • 3 cápsulas de probióticos


  1. Soak cashews overnight .
  2. The next day strain them, wash them and put them in a blender with the rest of the ingredients (except the probiotics). Beat until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  3. Pour the yogurt into a bowl, add the content of 3 probiotic capsules (discard the container, add only the powders that come inside ) and stir well.
  4. Cover with a gauze or cloth and let stand for at least 12 hours in a dark, dry place. After that time you can take your time yogurt or put it in the fridge for a while so that it is fresh and richer.
