At this time it is usually very fashionable to do detox diets to detoxify the body after binge eating and to start the year on the right foot, eating well and leading a healthy lifestyle. In the end, we have not encouraged ourselves to do this type of diet, but we want to bring you a very easy recipe that helps cleanse our body, a detox water or so that everyone understands, water with lemon, cucumber and mint.

I’ve always had a hard time drinking water. I drank only when I was thirsty or at meals but it was impossible for me to carry the bottle on my back or drink just for the sake of it. The good thing is that in my house water has always been drunk with meals, if not surely with what I liked the orange Fanta when I was little, I think I would not have drunk anything else. 

Ingredientes

  • 1 litro de agua (nosotros utilizamos agua filtrada)
  • 1 pepino
  • 1 ó 2 limones
  • 15 hojas de hierbabuena

Instructions

  1. We cut cucumber and lemons sliced. Ideally, they should be organic, if they are not, wash them well to remove pesticides as much as possible. If you want softer water, we recommend that you add one lemon instead of two.
  2. Put them in a container along with the leaves of mint and a liter of water.
  3. Let rest in the fridge for 12 or 24 hours, strain the water and we already have our detox water ready.
