Ingredients
- Rice for curry (1 cup per person)
- Curry powder
- A dice or two of vegetable broth
- Water (2 cups for each cup of rice)
- Salt li >
- Sugar
- 1 onion and a little oil to fry it
- 1 handful of raisins li >
Preparation
Chop the onion and put it in the pan over medium-high heat until it is soft but not very golden.
Put water to heat in a pot. Add the rice directly, no need to wait for it to boil. High fire. Add 1 or 2 cubes of vegetable broth and the salt you want (a little pepper is also very good).
When the rice swells, add a lot of curry (varies according to taste).
Once the curry has been added, add sugar (and salt, if necessary) until it takes on the right flavour. It depends a lot on each person.
When the rice has puffed up and has absorbed all the water, transfer to a large bowl or container and add the onion (without the oil) and lots of raisins.
Mix… and enjoy!.
