If I had to choose between all the recipes or meals that exist and I could only choose one, it would be the smoothies or fruit and vegetable shakes. It may sound weird, in fact two years ago my answer would have been very different but I couldn’t live without them, I eat them for breakfast almost every morning and I really enjoy them.

You can find several recipes for smoothies or milkshakes on the blog, but I had never dared to prepare a smoothie bowl (something like a milkshake in a bowl). Basically it is a smoothie that instead of being taken in a glass, is served in a bowl, it is usually denser and toppings such as fruit, nuts or seeds are usually sprinkled on top.

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 taza de leche de arroz (125 ml)
  • 4 plátanos (2 congelados y 2 frescos o 4 frescos)
  • 2 cucharadas de mantequilla de cacahuete
  • 8 cucharadas de algarroba en polvo o cacao en polvo sin azúcar
  • 8 dátiles

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients in the blender and beat until they are well integrated, although if your blender is not very powerful, beat all the ingredients except the frozen bananas and add them at the end. I recommend that you freeze them in small pieces.
  2. Spoon your favorite toppings on top. I have added banana, grated coconut, dark chocolate chips, peanuts and sesame seeds.
