Ingredients

  • 1 cup (120 g) farine de pois chiche
  • 1 1 /4 cup (295.74 ml< /span>) d’eau
  • 1/4 sel + plus pour le goĆ»t
  • 1/4 TL ail en poudre
  • Preparation

  • Mix together the chickpea flour, water, salt, and garlic powder until smooth. Then place in a saucepan over medium-high heat and cook. The mixture will become lumpy, stir occasionally, and eventually thicken like custard. Cook an additional 2 minutes after it has thickened evenly. Pour the mixture into a greased 7-8 inch pan or spread onto parchment paper and line up with parchment paper.
  • Place in the fridge for 20 minutes and cut the chickpeas into french fries.
  • Place the chickpea fries in a pan with 2 teaspoons oil over medium-high heat and fry until most of the edges are golden brown.
