broccoli pie


  • for broken dough:
  • 2 tablespoons of soy flour (soaked in 5 of water)
  • 175 grams of whole wheat flour
  • 80 grams of cold margarine
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 or 3 tablespoons water
  • for the white sauce:
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable flour
  • ½ liter of cold soy milk
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt
  • for the filling:
  • 300 grams of broccoli < / li>


For the dough:

One hour before starting the dough, soak the soy flour in 5 tablespoons of water.

Mix the flour, margarine and salt with your hands until a sand is formed.

Add the water and knead with the tips of your fingers until it forms a bun.

Line an oiled mold with this dough.

For the white sauce:

Sauté the onion in the margarine over low heat until transparent.

Add the flour and toast a little.

Increase the heat a little and slowly add the milk of soybeans, stirring constantly so that they do not form lumps, if you want a thinner white sauce, add more milk.

Season with salt and nutmeg.

For the filling:

The broccoli flowers are separated and cooked in salted water.

Assembled of the cake:

Line an oven mold with the dough (also lining the edges) and take to the oven 5 minutes at 180 degrees (so that the dough does not deform, place an aluminum foil on top of it with some weight on it).

Once ready, place the broccoli on top and cover it of white sauce.

Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
