The Best Watermelon Margaritas Made with Only 3 Ingredients! Naturally sweet with watermelon, tangy with lime and infused with silver tequila!

  • 1 1/4 cups Watermelon juice (1 small ripe watermelon makes about 3-5 cups of juice)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 5 soup < span class="wprm -recipe-ingredient-name">Silver Tequila (5 Tbsp = 2 1/2 ounces)
  • Sea Salt < span class="wprm-recipe-ingredients-notes wprm-recipe-ingredient- notes-faded">(optional // for edge lining)

  • Pack a large blender with diced ripe watermelon (with or without seeds) and blend until you have a juice. A small watermelon should make about 3-5 cups (720-1200ml), leaving you (as written in the original recipe) juice for extra margaritas. You can also pass the juice through a fine sieve to remove any seeds or pulp, but I didn’t find this necessary.
  • To make margaritas, place watermelon juice, lime juice, tequila, and a handful of ice in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Taste a small amount and adjust flavor as needed by adding more watermelon juice for sweetness, lime juice for acidity, or tequila for alcohol.
  • Trim the rims of two serving glasses (quantity as directed in original recipe //adjust if batch size is changed) with lime juice and sea salt (optional). Add ice and pour over the margaritas.
  • Preferably fresh! Leftover watermelon juice will keep, covered, in the fridge for up to 3 days.
