Beet, oat, garbanzo/chickpea burgers served with tomatoes, basil or baby greens between multi-grain olive oil buns. Vegan recipe. 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 ( 0,5 ) betterave moyenne (pelĂ© et râpĂ© / râpĂ©)
  • 1/2 tasse ( 82 g ) kichererbsen / pois chiches ( lavĂ©s et Ă©gouttĂ©s si en conserve, cuits jusqu’Ă  ce qu’ils soient tendres après trempage pendant la nuit, si haricots secs)
  • 1/2 ( 0.5 ) pomme de terre moyenne bouillie (1/3 cup)
  • 1/2 ( 40.5 g < / span>) avoine (grossly scraped / mixed)
  • 2 cuillères Ă  cafĂ© ail hachĂ© ( 3-4 girofle )
  • 1 soup spoon pâte de tomate Ă©paisse oder pĂĽree of tomates rĂ´ties.
  • 1/2 spoon Ă  cafĂ© ( 0.5 cuillère Ă  cafĂ© ) Cumin in powder
  • 1/2 cuillère Ă  tĂ© ( 0,5 cuillère Ă  cafĂ© ) sel ou au goĂ»t
  • 1/4 cuillère Ă  cafĂ© ( 0.25 cuillère Ă  cafĂ© ) pepper powder / pepper flakes / black powder ou au goĂ»t
  • 1/2 cuillère Ă  cafĂ© ( 0.5 cuillère Ă  cafĂ© ) chole / chana masala en poudre (Ihre Notizen oder ga Ram Masala or MĂ©l ange d’Ă©pices (Cajun oder MĂ©diterranĂ©en) au choix)
  • 1 spoon Ă  soup Olive oil
  • Preparation

  • In a bowl, add the grated beets, mashed chickpeas, and mashed potatoes. Mix well and puree.
  • Add salt, olive oil, tomato paste and spices. Mix well and leave for 5 minutes.
  • The mixture will get a little wet from the salt and spices. Add half of the rolled oats and mix well.
  • Add more rolled oats if needed to ensure the mixture is dry enough to make balls/ flat pancakes.
  • Press the patties onto the remaining oats on a plate so the fatty oats stick to both sides remain.< /div >
  • < div class= "wprm -recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px";="">Place patties on parchment paper on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in preheated 350 degree F oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until patties are crisp on the outside.
  • Serve immediately with a dip or top with veggies or sliders, or cool on a wire rack and refrigerate for 2-3 days! Have a meatless Tuesday!
  • Notes: Chana/chole masala powder recipe: Dry roast and grind one teaspoon of dried pomegranate seeds , cumin seeds, coriander seeds, with 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, black peppercorns and 1 dried red chilli. Or you can buy it in any Indian spice shop!
