Vegan, light GF. This baked French toast can almost pass for dessert. Sugar free with natural sweeteners and with the crunchy topping it’s fun to mess with.
For the French Toast: Knead everything except the bread slices into a dough that is not too thin. ((Or use gf batter with oatmeal, flaxseed, and plant-based milk like Tiramisu or Samoan French Toast.)
Dip in the slices add to batter and place in a greased casserole dish/casserole dish.You can dice the slices, or use the size according to the ramekins and stack 2-3 deep or layer like bread pudding.
