Well, I didn’t invent hot water, but if you needed a good recipe for applesauce, here’s one 🙂
Ingredients
- apples – 2 – 100 < span>(g)
- cinnamon – 1 (cà s)
Preparation
- Peel the apples and cut- cube them.
- In a Dutch oven, cook the apples over medium heat with 250 mL of water. When it boils, lower the heat to low. Leave to simmer for an hour and a half without a lid, stirring occasionally.
- Add the sugar and cinnamon then turn off the heat.
- You can mix the compote if you want , or leave it as it is! Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
